The New School is one of those New York institutions that begs coverage. But in some ways the signage on the façade of the school is completely underwhelming. One would think that for a lauded educational system such as they are—in the realm of the grapgic arts —that the type on the face of their building would be, well, a little more legible. Nonetheless, I like it. While clarity may not be it’s strong point, it certainly lays claim to a place in the history of Modernism. And for that reason, I applaud it.
